It is not, as some have assumed, some clev-var-ly obscene expression of macho wankerism. It is simply my initials followed by the word "now." No, you projected that. Now, give me that crayon, and go wash your mind out with soap. I am an "Asperger's Autistic," and like most of my brethren, I will blithely confound your comfortably habitual stereotypes without caring or even noticing. Cope. WE do. I am also a "radical agnostic" (where "radical" refers to that which is sine qua non, as opposed to militant or extremist), apparently similar to what Robert Anton Wilson (about whom I know very little) described as "Model Agnosticism," and somewhat aligned with the fundamentals of Buddhist philosophy. An extreme distillation of my guiding principle yields the (deceptively) paradoxical statement, "I don't believe in belief." Peel that onion. And this one: I live on exactly one hundred dollars per month. I don't shop at Mal-Wart. I am neither a Democrat nor a Republican, but I record Bill Moyers' Journal "religiously" every week. You do the math. I consider myself somewhat transgendered, and somewhat bisexual, given highly specific circumstances. I am, however, both single and celibate, and largely plan to stay that way. My grandfather grew up in Hannibal, Missouri, during the height of Mark Twain's literary popularity, and embodied all of the pretentious elitism of that social tradition, but none of its presumed depth of spirit or character. He had a black maid, which, we are to understand, conclusively proved his progressive character. Yeah. His "humanitarianism" was all for public display, like that of most people today, but not a shred of it could be spared for his own family. As it turned out, I was neurologically/developmentally incapable of internalizing the "moral" example that he so ineptly provided. I simply had to find my own way. Still, I like to think I have had a hand, however accidental, in correcting that legacy of hypocrisy he left to us. Thus, despite being a Midwestern white male (and because of it), owing to all of the above, I am a de facto (but marginalized) member of several distinct and seriously marginalized "out-groups." Outcast among outcasts. A leper's leper's leper. Triple-Jeopardy, with a twist of hemlock. Drink up. SO. Anyone for a game of Bigot's Bingo? Go ahead -- tell me you don't hold any of that against me. I don't do religion, mysticism, consumerism, procreation, competition, or traditional/primal rituals pertaining to dating, male-bonding or alpha-male dominance. I don't do MAL-WART. Dying in a terrorist attack is NOT more probable than choking to death on a marshmallow. Mudslinging is not a substitute for honorable debate. Manipulation is not a substitute for non-violence.
